Has everyone heard of the Worldskills competition?? If not Google it and learn what a huge organisation it is. Well, this year 2010 the National competition is being held in Brisbane, in May, at the Convention centre. As a teacher of the Qld jewellery apprentices at SBIT I will be heavily involved, as will my colleages in other states, preparing our states entrants for this gruelling 3 day competition. Lets get behind these apprentices and their supportive employers, who give up their time to practice and enter this competition.
